Happy Public Domain Day – Welcome Sigmund Freud
Thursday, December 31st, 2009 | Author: admin

For many people January 1st will be a day of nursing hangovers and breaking their new year resolutions! For others it will be a day of unbelievable new riches becoming available!

Some of you are asking “What are you talking about Simon?” Well in many countries (sadly not the USA) works fall into the public domain after a certain period after the death of the author/creator – frequently 50 or 70 years. So come Jan 1st 2010 a whole host of works will become available from creators who passed in 1939 and 1959.

Obviously this is a MASSIVE list and this year includes some notable names including Sigmund Freud and William Butler Yeats. (remember it depends on where you live – check your local copyright laws)

Sadly here in the USA the next batch of public domain material will be in 2019, but that doesn’t take away from the  outrageously MASSIVE wealth of FREE information, books, pamplets, art, music etc that is available to you.

If you are not taking advantage of Public Domain works to catapult your business forward you are leaving money on the table. Need some help? Join my insider mailing list (it is free) and get the inside scoop on Making Money With Public Domain Works.

Real World Example Public Domain Used in Offline World
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 | Author: admin

I hear so many times people say they cannot work out what to do with Public Domain material to make money.

Well if you take the time to look around you will find it EVERYWHERE – and I mean everywhere. Forget the online information marketing space (where incidentially you can make thousands of dollars!) I see it everyday in the offline world – and actually sell quite a few offline/physical products myself.

In fact just this Christmas I opened a gift from my wife and waht do you think it was? Well I had asked for a jigsaw puzzle – yesI know a little nerdy !!

Anyway I unwrapped this gift and what did I see?

She said she had seen me shipping out similar items (there is a hint there of part of one of my business’!!!!!) to people and knew I liked the picture (in fact I have one on my wall in my office) so she picked it for me.

If you search you will find people like Sears, Toys-R-Us and a whole host of ‘big names’ selling these kinds of puzzles. I would imagine somebody is making a nice amount of extra cash by manufacturing these items and selling them to the big boys…

So if you want some inspiration of other ideas just go and see what ese you can find these kind of images on! Drop me a comment with what you find!

Onwards to your success!

The #1 Secret To Success in 2010
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 | Author: admin

So before you rush out and buy all those ‘amazing’ info products on how to make money on the Internet I want to let you into a little secret.

None of them are going to work unless you do this one thing. Thats right you will fail on every endevour if you don’t have this one secret ingredient. Nobody can sell this to you, you need to find it yourself.

The secret ingredient is ACTION.

Sounds simple eh? But you will be surprised to find out that 90% (probably 95%) of people just will not apply this secret principle. People will sit around procrastinating, making excuses or watching the latest episode of their favorite TV show, when they could be chalking up one success after another.

And the more of it the better! I like to call it MASSIVE ACTION.

In one of Dan Kennedy’s books he talks about turning around a company he has taken over – he sits down and lists 37 different ways to do it, then does all of them.  If I remember correctly 6 or 7 of them work.

So the question is are YOU going to take action in 2010? Sit down and write a list of all the things you are going to do in 2010 - then drop me a comment and let me know what you are going to do – I’ll try and keep you honest!

Good luck in 2010 – although I know you won’t need it if you are taking MASSIVE action

Simon
